Using the format method, Numbers can be formatted to look like currency, percentages, times, or even plain old numbers with decimal places, thousands, and abbreviations( 1K, 1M).

How to use it
If you are to use in the browser, then you should first download its zipped file and link it to your HTML document like this.
<script src="numeral.min.js"></script>
Or you can use the Content Delivery Network(CDN) link like this.
<script src="//cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/numeral.js/2.0.6/numeral.min.js"></script>
Always remember to visit the site and check if it's the latest CDN link.
And if at all you are using Node js to work with this library, then this would be the best way to link it to your project.
First, you install it using this command below
npm install numeral
Then initialize it like this;
var numeral = require('numeral');
